WTB: set of Style 87 wheels

Hi, I am on the west coast (SF Bay Area), looking for a staggered set of Style 87, light scuffing/road rash ok.

Let me know if you have a set to sell.

Hi Jordo, I've recently seen them advertised from $800-$1250 (wheels only, no tires).
Are you selling yours?
Let me know...

I have for sale a set

RIMS: 18x8.5 ET48 5x120 bolt pattern.

TIRES: Pirelli Scorpions Snow & Ice 255/55x18

Both tires and rims are are in brand new condition with no scratches or curb rash: you can check TireRack for the review on these tires to see that they are among the best performing winter tires that money can buy. I bought these for our X3 but unfortunately they don't fit as good as I would like them too. The person I bought them from said he used them only once to go to Mammoth and if you see the tires you'll see. If you're interested call (76O) 576-4O73. I'll be at Willow Springs next weekend for a trackday if you want to pick them up there...

Asking price is $800.

Here's a few of pictures:

Hi, I was looking for a 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 staggered setup from an X5 to put on my X3, which you probably were as well. BTW, your tires as 255/55R18 not 255/35R18.

Thanks for pointing out the typo!!!!

BTW, I'm not sure what you're trying to fir the 20" on, but unless you go on some very low offset, there is no way that 9.5 fit in the front of a first generation X3... I can't speak for the new one as I don't know how it is.

I was actually looking for some snow tires... These are too big and they scrape... My X3 is the workhorse of the family...

Hi, I may be a little naive... but I saw this thread

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...spy-shots.html

so I assumed it fits.

Well... all I know is that the rims I'm selling are 8.5 with an offset of 48 and my finger won't fit between the rim and the strut. For 9.5 to even fit it means they need to be a whole inch outward which kinda sounds a lot...

From what I have learned, the style 87s are 20x9.5 ET45 (F) and 20x10.5 ET30 (R).
I have seen someone put 245/40-20 and 275/35-20 and the seemed to fit with ET40 all around.

BTW, I just got my X3 with the aero package yesterday and I really want those 87s on it... I've been researching the rears, but what your experience suggest that I really should pay attention to the fronts.
