LOL! No replies....
Maybe someone can help with the original problem. Bought this unit hoping to put it into an '02 Porsche 911. I slid out the stock stereo unit and after seeing all the nice wiring and how it's plugged in...didn't have to heart (or the guts) to cut and splice anything up. Anyone has experience installing one of these Pioneer units into a Porsche? |

if you look...someone should have a wiring harness so that you dont have to cut anything...and i have installed these in a few cars..and its not that bad...just need to rip the seats out and give yourself plenty of room to work....

Have u installed one of these units before? A local shop specializing in Porsches is charging 2k to install the unit. I'll try to take photos later today.

i have installed this unit before..along with alpine DVD units..but not in a porsche. Thats the thing...the shop tells you they specialize in porches and thats how they get you....any reputable shop shouldnt charge you more than $500 for the install...its barely a 4-6hr job for an experienced installer....and 10hrs at max for someone whos going off a sheeet of instructions....with all the info online these days you can find all the info you need...
