1998 318ti HENNA/BLACK SPORT/ACTIVE PACKAGE

Group,

i'm not sure how much interest I will find amongst my X5 brethren, but I thought I would give it a try. I'm selling my beloved 318ti. I have over 125 pictures on this page:

http://www.inlacal.com/318ti

I'll offer it to the list for $9500. I'm going to ask for more on Ebay. It will list on Ebay tomorrow night.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Chris

P.S. Here's a teaser-picture...

That's a gorgeous TI. Great upgrades. The M44 is an underrated performer and a great engine for a daily high-mileage driver. I put on over 100K miles on my '95 318is in a 3 year period, and other than brakes battery, it needed nothing but normal oil maintenance. When I sold it, it was still running as strong as when I bought it.

It's a great car for a teen driver. Durable, safe, and not enough power to overwhelm a novice driver.

Good luck with the sale.

Your website looks familiar - did you have a Z3M coupe up for sale on eBay a couple of years back?

You're right...The M44 is a great engine...It's flexible in that it can reliably handle the DASC supercharger and last a very long time...I've seen a 1997 ti with 300,000 miles on the original engine. Original owner. I was blown away. It happens to be one of the most refined engines I've ever driven in that your molars don't rattle loose like they would when I'd drive my s14 powered e30 M3...Granted, these were two very different four cylinder engines. And the gas mileage: Unbelievable. I fill up and forget about gas for a good seven days.

My six week old daughter forces the sale of this one...But I'm keeping my 1997 ti (white/black)...I have 'plans' for that one

A few months ago I may have had an interest, as I was at the time looking for an e36 for my son. I ended up getting him a 1995 318is in hellrot red and he's been in heaven ever since.

with the sale, I hope it finds a worthy new home.

Jeff

p.s. - love the vanity plate - "skunk works". Are you into R&D?

I can't really expect her to follow in Danica Patrick's footsteps...Wait...Maybe I can

Anyway, I've already raided the local BMW parts department for everything baby

Perhaps someday she will inherit dad's 2006 Imola 3.0 6-speed...Assuming she is unlike her mother and actually cares about driving a stick
