This is not BMW related item for sale. I'm moving to the non-BMW items for sale. Good luck with it.

$22,900 for an '03 V8? That speaks volumes about the ML's resale value.

Ironically, I ran into a guy this morning at a local detail shop and he owns a 94 SL500, he told me he bought it because of the great resale value, I did not laugh in the guys face, but I said, "yeh great resale have you looked at what the 2003 and 2004 CL500s are selling for (these cars new sold for between $85-$100k now at the auctions you can get'em with low miles for low $30s). I am not a MB hater by any means but their resale SUCKS!

22,900 can barely touch an 03 3.0i with higher mileage ...

I am moving soon, so I lowered the price for a quick sale and to make space for my next purchase ( maybe x5) . This car was bought for over $58K in 2003. It has some features that are superior to the X5, one is the interior its so comfortable it puts people to sleep. Since this is the top of the line model, Mercedes didn't cheap out the styling or paint job , it make me think this gets more attention than an X5 , espeically from those who value Prestige which Mercedes is synonmous with and BMW is not regarded as. In this price range of above 50K...BMW is just a Mercedes Wanna Be.,

although everybody is entitled to their own opinion, this isn't exactly the place to be posting things like "BMW is a MB wanna be" or "BMW is not regarded as a prestigious car". Would you walk into a chinese restaurant and tell the waiter that chinese food sucks and ask if they have pizza? I think not ...

So don't be surprised if you get flamed .....

so here's my opinion on the previous generation ML.... compared to the X5, the ML lacks in build quality. You can tell by the plasticky parts they use on the interior of the car. The ML was plagued with problems since day 1. Not to say the X5 doesn't have its quirks, though. It also doesn't handle half as well as the X5 does. Granted it might have a plusher ride, but throw that ML into a corner and the X5 will eat it right up. There's a lot more about the ML I can say, but I'll hold back ....

in a nutshell ... I'll take an X5 over an ML any day of the week.

Good luck with your sale.

Agreed the ML is a horrid car, no friggin steering wheel audio controls, minivan styling, pathetic resale value, shoot when the 2005 redesign came around they we're practically giving them away! psh Pass Please, I'll take my Ultimate better then an ML in every way any day!
