Just had both cars repaired at FMW in Natick MA, and am very pleased with the outcome. They replaced the dash cluste, AC resistor and door lock actuators on my 2001 X5 under the CPW for $50. While there I mentioned my wifes 1999 328IS was having problems with the pixels on the OBC, they dealer replaced it 2 years ago and even though the car is out of warranty, they replaced it free of charge - didn't even hit me with a deductible.

congrats... your wife part must of been under the "2 year unlimited parts warranty"
