I have to say that Patrick took care of my problem I had with my Oil Separator, and some valve covers. I understand some people in the forum didn't like Patrick but I think it's all about the warranty. Any dealer you go to will try to scam you out of money. But see thats how they profit... They all charge over 100 dollars per hr. So if you don't have warranty, just take it to a good mechanic you might know and get it done for way, way, less.... That's what I'm going to do as soon as my warranty expires. Don't be a sucker and go to dealer ships without a warranty.

IF YOU LIVE IN ILLINOIS, I HAVE A GREAT MECHANIC WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AND WILL COST YOU HALF THEN THE DEALER AND HE IS CERTIFIED TO DO ALL IMPORTS AND DOMESTIC. THIS GUY DOES IT ALL. HE WILL NOT CHARGE YOU TO LOOK AT IT AND HE WILL BE SOOOO HONEST WITH YOU RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. I'VE BEEN GOING TO HIM FOR THE LAST 14YRS, I ONLY GO ONCE FOR MY PROBLEM AND I NEVER HAVE TO GO BACK. TRUST ME, TRY IT OUT YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

Thanks for your post. I have only used Patrick for purchasing purposes, and they have been great. Who do you use there? (anybody specific?).

Bridgeview is far from me, so it just isn't practical for me to go there. Thanks anyways though! :)

This guy Chris Simon. He has been really honest and to the point with me, can't complain at all, he calls me everyday to give me an up to date with my car. I don't like dealers at all for service. I only go because I have this ext. warranty, if I didn't have one, never will go. I just don't trust them. The guy's they use to do the service on the cars are not very good mechanics. But it beats going all the way to bridgeview when your car needs to be towed...Where do you live???

You are the first one I have heard good about Patrick service....And I have heard a lot of bad service experiences about Patrick. Fields is best in area for service and sales, Motorwerks is second.

FIELDS SUCKS when it comes to sales. Remember I switched to Patrick at the last min because Fields was doing such a crappy job? Never been to MW.

Close to MW. Have bought MBs in family from Fields and very good experience on both sales and service.

Chris Simon in service has helped me out. I would say I would only talk to him now. Patrick still sucks for service. I took my X3 about month ago, and it is still there. i'm driving my vert right now so I don't need the X3 until november. But still a MONTH! WTF!

I've used Patrick, they're ok. Best dealer all-around in the Chicago area is Motorwerks.
