Seat Product Recommendations Please

Hey guys, hit a deer with my e53 4.8 and picked up an e70 3.0si a few weeks ago. I'm enjoying the smoother ride and missing the extra giddyup.

More than anything, though, the seats aren't the most comfortable. The shape and fit is good, but the material (LEDER NEVADAF1 TABAK (LUF1)) is very harsh. They call it leather, but it feels more like a textured vinyl.

Any tips on softening this up, making it a bit more luxurious? Or am I stuck?

Personally, I'm not a fan of ~needing~ to condition leather...
The finish of leather is ~coated~ - aka, plastic/vinyl.
Yes, on some minute level, the conditioner will work through the stitching and depending on how worn the finish is, on a minute/macro level, maybe some will work past the coat and into the hide.

Conditioner IMO attracts dirts, etc, over the long term.

I agree. I was just wondering if anyone had found anything for these particular seats. Besides a meat tenderizer. :/

I would think the texture.firmness of the foam would be on the feedback....

Granted, I know it's the little things. I've changed the steering wheel twice already in our E53, and I've owned it new. I just like a textured steering wheel....

The foam feels fine, but the leather just reacts more like a piece of cardboard than a piece of leather. Like it's not as pliable as it could/should be. It feels more like a football or basketball than a nice bomber jacket. I know it's a different type of leather than what was in my e53, but I'd love to soften it a bit if I could.
