Quick question!!

I'm ready to wash my microfiber towels and I'll like to know if there are any considerations to take before doing so!!! Any and all input is appreciated!!!
Can I, should I use hot water?? Is there such a thing as too hot?? Is liquid tide OK??

I wash mine in hot water with whatever detergent is on sale, long wash cycle, extra rinse. Throw them in the dryer with sheet of Bounce.

Thanks, the reason I asked about the hot water is that my washing machine has a "sanitizing" cycle and the water is really hot!!!
I guess I might as well just throw it in normal wash!!! Thanks again!!!

i take this from mr pakshak...

For best results, always wash the micro fiber towels and/or mitts separate from other non-micro fiber fabrics especially cotton. They will attract lint in the wash water which can leave lint residues when next used. Machine wash or hand wash with any mild liquid detergent in warm water (=<90°). The towel and/or mitt can be machine dry at air temperature or tumble-dry low or just line dry for best results.

Important: DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR BLEACH, AND DO NOT IRON. The reason is that the micro fiber towel and/or mitt will treat the fabric softener as if it was dirt. It will try to store the tiny particles of the softener in the fibers of the towel and/or mitt. This will clog up the micro fibers and render the towel and/or mitt ineffective.

MicroFiber Care -

If cared for properly, they will last you a long time and give you show car performance. Below I have included a list of do's and don'ts to get the best "milage" from your new towels.

*Do wash towels in "Cold - Warm Water" before first use. (you never know what they may have picked up)

*Do NOT use bleach, fabric softeners , anti-static products or detergents that contain them.

I recommend washing seperate from your regular laundry to prevent "introducing" lint or other particles to your towels. Also, I have found Dawn dish detergent(blue formula)to be the choice to wash towels when they are "dirty". Wash by hand in a bucket of warm water with Dawn to remove the majority of polish, wax, etc, etc.
You can then safely machine wash. I recommend a rinse with white distilled vinegar after every few washings.

*Do NOT dry in the dryer.
I recommend hang drying. Your dryer may contain dust, lint and traces of anti-static/cling sheets or other fabric softeners you do not want in your towels for the best performance and long life.

*Do NOT iron.

*Do NOT use with stainable materials such as paint, ink, wood stains, etc.

*Do NOT use on painted surface if towel has been dropped or is dirty.

*Do wash if they begin to streak or smear.
