I have found paint sealants good as well, like clearguard, A1, Top Gloss.

Great with removing dust and tar, never had to use anything but shampoo and sponge.

I've used it before, but I found it to be about as effective as any other wax product used in a harsh environment, i.e. limited effectiveness, short life and ultimately, overrated. I have about the same result on wheels with Meguiars Cleaner Wax as I do with Wheel Wax. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Just my $0.02.

Wheel Wax-
Nothing special that I have found during my "testing days".

Just use a good sealant such as Zaino when waxing your vehicle and you will not to have a "specialty" product.

Anybody tried Zymol on wheels? I know it's expensive stuff but hey I have some whereas I'd need to buy wheel wax. I bought a set of 19" wheels with tires and am thinking on waxing them with Zymol before putting them on. Any thoughts?

I've used WW and it seems to give very good short term
protection...but, imo, nothing beats Zaino for initial shine,
"comeback shine" via washings and, it seems to offer
amazing "lift off" properties when you are washing between
shines.

Thanks. I usually wash my wheels every week so I hope not much will stick to the paint even though my current 17" do have some areas where the paint looks dirty even though I clean them regularly.
Since I don't have Zaino I think I'll just go ahead with Zymol for the initial layer of wax then may just wax again every month or so. I may do 2 layers of zymol to start with.

On a side note I learned the hard way to not wax when it's freezing (or close to). I did it last year and ended up with marks of hard wax that were hard to remove, some of them are still there.
