No excuse for scuffed Rims in So. Cal.

I finally scuffed one of the rims on my X5 last week

After searching around, I found a guy here in Southern California that will actually drive to wherever your car is, fix the rim (on the car), do a fantastic job and not charge an arm and a leg. (did I mention he did the whole thing in less than 20 minutes?)

I'm not affiliated with the guy in any way, other than being a happy customer, and wanted to share some pictures for my X5 friends so you could see his work for yourself and use him with confidence.

His name is Son Tran.
His company is Onsite Wheel Reconditioning, Inc.
His number is 714-742-6855
His email is: [email protected]

PS: We would have someone that skilled here in
hillbillyheaven, about 2085, when my great grandchildren
are riding on mag-lev cars, and I've been worm food
for 65 years.

Wow - that looks perfect - can't even tell it was damaged!

Nice, bro! I had mine done at a local shop, and their turn around time is 10-14 days, during which time of course they have your wheel/wheels in the shop! Doing it all at your home/work is an awesome service and definitely worth any $$$ he charges!

That is an excellent job. Makes you wonder why it takes so long at the wheel houses!

We need to find a guy like him in the Northeast. I have a wheel or two he could fix. I went to a local place "recommended" by the dealer. Same place they would send their wheels, but I'd save their handling and labor charge for removing the wheel and driving it over. Anyway, very similar curb rash as seen in the photos - $165 to repair. I left and told him I'd think about it. There's got to be a less expensive way to fix these minor scraps.
