Best leather cleaner

Just curious, if someone can recommend some good leather cleaner for my new X5. I used LEXOL in the past, but I read a review saying that it was not the best stuff and I know from experience that its not user friendly. Thanks in advance!!

Meguiars makes a lot of good past and spray leather conditioners, do a google.com search.

Never had a problem with Lexol. Just followed the directions and the results are great.

The BMW leather care kit works fine in the X3. I also use a Zymol Leather conditioner on our Lexus, which has softened its once rock-hard (and slippery) leather surface.

BMW kit is good but if you want best then go for Spinneybeck

Hi Guys -

FWIW, the leather on our cars is just coated leather.

I use cleaners less sparingly than water every 2 weeks as I prefer to just keep ontop of it rather than let the dirt build up.

Here is a tip though. Go buy a Horse Hair Brush *one of the very few Griots* items I do like ! Spray some water or dilute 80 water/20 cleaner you like and SCRUB away with the brush. Wipe off with a clean towel, then spray clean water and wipe again.

U will be AMAZED at how much grit the horse hair agitates & cleans out of the cracks and crevices as opposed to just wiping with a cloth ! I've seen it 1st hand ;-)

I order the Gliptone from England. Best I've ever found for auto & furniture.
