Oily Residue

Just detailed my car and it looks very shiny and deep black. However in the sun, there's an oily residue that looks filmsy. How can I get rid of that?
Hazy is another word I would use to describe what the paint looks like.

EDIT: I applied wax (Zymol, I also use Meguiar's) and with a bright yellow light I was able to tell that the oily film I'm talking about is simply the wax. I have to very lightly wipe it off for the final touch otherwise it will streak. Is that normal? Maybe it is build-up smearing?

excess wax, get some quick detail free of silicones and a microfiber. that should take care of it. you can even use straight water and a microfiber.

Ok, that's what I figured. It could also be why people recommend to run cold water after a wax job to set the wax. I looked at the car in sun after detailing and couldn't visually see any streaking.

2nd on the wax build up, use a good detail spray.
