Exterior Trim

Hello All,

Just acquired a 2004 X5 3.0. Detailed the exterior plastic trim using 303 protectant. Drove in rain and it looks terrible!

Any suggestions on what product to use on the exterior trim?

Thanks.

I am hearing that Forever Black makes the trim look great.

I've been using Griot's Vinyl & Rubber Dressing for the past couple of years with very good results.

Leaves a nice "non-greasy satin finish," contains UV protection, and is fairly durable. I use it after every other wash, usually a couple of times per month.

I've used forever black in the past - it does work well, but I'm concerned that it will actually change the color of the trim. I may give the McGuire's a try (Found in another post) since I can pick it up locally....if not satisfactory I'll try the Griot's.

Thanks!

I used the McGuires trim dressing for the first time and was happy. I have washed the car since and it still looks good. You can adjust the spray from light to heavy and it is an oval nozzle. Lastly at $5.49 a car I plan to use it once a month.
