Bird Crap
Phil: I had the X parked in my driveway for about a week, and when I washed it today, I noticed a stain on my hood that left a ghost silhouette. Whatcha got to rectify this?

I'd imagine it involves a buffer.... :dunno:
|
i hope you have polish, and possibly compound if you're really unlucky
|
do you have a picture of it?
i would say you may need compound and polish and at the minimal a Porter cable with some good pads. or you can try vinegar and a towel and blot it ... |
Bird Crap can be nasty if left too long! I remember a while back I had the same problem. One nite I was out with a friend, I left my Porsche parked at his house and couldnt be bothered to take it home. Anyway after 2 weeks I picked it up and noticed a nasty Bird stain on my hood. So I washed the car and when it dried the bird crap had left a burn, scortch like mark on the paint work!!! I tried polish but it was no good. So I ended up doing a hood detail. I purchased a light abrasive compund called Fereclá G3, and worked my way over the hood with an orbital buffer, After that I polished the hood as normal and it was back to perfect condition.

Yep it will come out with a machine. But above anything else when you get it rubbed out put about five coats of wax on that hood and bird crap wont stick.

try to clay it out that should help
