I prefer using Poorboys Wheel Sealant. It works pretty well.

I just use "autoglym" silicone car polish since finish on car body and wheels are the same, and it works really well........................The silicone component in this polish does a relly good job of limiting the deposit of brake dust on the wheels.
I also use it on the lights....

I also like PB's Wheel Sealant after a wash. Lately, I've been playing around with Eagle One Wax As-U Dry as a quick detailer to wipe away brake dust in between washings. I wipe away brake dust every other day or so during the week but prefer to use a lubricant since my wheels are chrome.

So Do All x5's have this brake problem. Or can after market pads fix it also?

SuaveX5 09-04-2005 03:16 AM

it is a problem wit all the oem pads on the x5, if you change your pads it will not be as much of a problem, most members on this board will tell you to buyt the axxis delux pads.

in about a week i will be chaning my rotors to brembo corss drilled rotors and maybe mintex or axxis delux pads. i`ll post about it.
