Keeping carpet clean
 

I ahve the rubber mats in the back but they don't cover the middle under the vents. Also water can easily slide off them and get into the carpet. What could i do to keep the carpet clean and cover the middle under the vents without making it look ugly.

Easy.... Don't eat or drink in the vehicle PERIOD!!!

Im not worried about eating or drinkking in it but when it rains and people in the back have wet shoes the water will roll off the mat into the carpet. I don't want that. Plus there is nothing covering the middle under the vent. Is there somehting that some people have put to cover the capret? Or mats that cover it well.

go to costco or any auto shop and purchase a set of rubber floor mats for the fronts, now use these front floor mats to put it side ways into the back floor it will cover the middle area under the vents, I have done this to my X5 you might need to take a razor blade and cut into areas where it over laps to make a snug fit.... this works and its not expensive...... my middle carpet still looks new :thumbup:
