Which type?
Hi, I have never used wax on any of my vehicles before and this is my first BMW. So i was wondering if i should get the wax from BMW or get it from canadian tire or something. Also if there are any good spray wax's I could use, could you reccomend them.
Thanks. |

Thanks. But which wax is better spray or the BMW paste type of one. Thank you.
|
Spray wax can sometime be a touch up thing. After that it's more than just paste type of one. The link i gave is a site sponsor. They can guide you through the process. Don't be afraid to ask them.

Ok thank you.

Hit "Wax', 'Polish', 'which one'?, etc.
You'll get a score of Threads... BMW "wax"? Lmao... |
Do you mean carnuba wax or polish? Search for Zaino and Menzerna in this forum. Both are good. Also checkout threads by phil@detailersdomain.

I'll try search, thanks.

Thanks phil. I also asked my neighbor what he uses on his z4. He told me the wax he uses is from meguirs and for the trim he uses mothers back to black.
|
for the trim you can use Black Wow its a great product.
|
Ok thanks. I am going this weekend to get the products.
|
I ended up giving it a wash and using the wax and mother back to black for the trim. Looks very nice now. But one thing i didnt like was the BMW glass cleaner isn't very good. It left alot of streaks. I'll put up pictures when I have time.
