Dear Regs&Faves:

RACK IT!

This thread is right up there for the Qtrly classic/clueless post award.

Dear Moderators...is there some way to preserve this thread for all time or, at least until the Net burns out?

how can i get it out? i went under and removed the heat shield and used a rubber mallet but it got most of the dent out, but not all of it. theres some small bumpiness to it. and the crease is dented a little.

is there a way to exploit the warranty to fix this...say the corrosion warranty?

How do you remove the heat shield? What year X do you have?

2005....there are plastic screws that you unscrew and then it pops out...
