I believe my head light on the driver side needs to be restored to crystal clarity. it feels like thers scratches on the outside and is foggy looking. so i was hoping wat is the best product to use this and clear it up?

o man ill give that a try lol but that web site u recommended on that forum seems so shady i hope it works and i hope that its not condensation thats killing my head light but i am pretty sure its the out side of the head lights because i can feel the plastic feeling rough

I know what you mean about the website and even the packaging itself, but those were true results. The key is to be sure you follow the directions and sand away all the rough plastic. Time will tell how long they last, but it made a big difference as you can see. There was no way I was going to buy new assemblies.
I have been debating putting a light coat of wax on the lenses the next time I wash the car, but I can't decide if that will help the sealer that was included in the kit or wax some of it off. There are other ways to go about doing this. Weasel explained his method in that thread as well. Good luck. |
Thanks man i am gonna give it a try and post some possible pics before and afterrrs

I used 600 grit wet/ dry sand paper and buffed it with Norton Black Ice compound on a foam pad at 500 rpm. Be sure to tape off the lens to prevent accidentally sanding the clear coat. They look better than new!
