How to remove wax residual on plastic trim..
Hi,
I have E70 and applied wax a while ago. But there are some wax (White color) residual left on the plastic bumper and side door molding. It never goes away. Anyone know how to clean it? Thanks. |
Lots of things take it off, pencil eraser, Mothers back to black or Black Wow and put peanut butter on it wait 30 seconds and wipe it off works as well no kidding.
and yes I have tried all of them. |

I use Autoglym bumper care - really quick to apply and no need to wipe off after!

These similar posts keep coming up a lot lately. Trust me....use a 2" medium paint brush and silicone tireshine. It's immediately take away the white, makes the black plastic look awesome and the brush makes is super easy to get shine on the fender flares w/o getting it onto the paint. I also use the brush to do my tires also so I don't get overspray onto the body. Just squirt the silicone from the top of the tip and start applying. I have a loose fitting ziptie around the neck of the silicone bottle so I can keep the brush w/ it at all times.

Too messy...my way doesnąt require special order items, expensive products and you kill two birds with one stone by removing the residue and making the trim shine at the same time with something you probably already have anyways.
