HELP! I've committed the mortal sin!!
I can't believe it. I hit some newly painted road lines and it has left a fricken oversprayon the plastic on the left side bottom and in the left side wheel wells. There is a little on the paint below the door guard trim the length of the left side. Can I use bug/tar remover? Can I clay? I have a good coat of wax on, but the plastic will be a bear to clean. Any suggestions would be helpful! :tsk: I am a MORON!!!!!!!

I used a plastic putty knife lightly and the line paint came off the paint...phewwww!! I had a used piece of clay and that took it off the plastic.....never again!! :o

 I had a similar incident and I ended up using Bug&Tar removal. Glad everything is ok.

I had my car spray-painted once (the whole neighborhood did), and I used clay bar, worked very well. You need to do it quick though, before the paint completely dries.

3m adhesive remover would work too

I always laugh at any car I see w/ road paint on it. That'll teach me  Thank's for the support!!!
