Wet/Shiny spots using Lexol Conditioner

Hi all,

I used the lexol conditioner on my 2 month old X5 this weekend and noticed some wet/shiny spots probably caused by uneven spereading
of lexol.

I was using a white damp cloth and when it first contacts the leather - the quantity is somewhat more before it spreads out. this place where it first touches has these wet/shiny spots...how can I get rid of these. I messed up my leather while trying to beautify it.

Thanks.

Re-treat; and this time do not use a damp cloth. Shake it well and Follow the directions
found on the bottle.

Interesting; I've never seen that Lexol. Must be a new product.
This is the only kind I have ever used.

Lexol Leather Conditioner

I use a applicator pad (the round ones people wax with) and it spreads VERY evenly for me. However if you use Zaino Z10 you'll never have to worry about them... :-D

I would go with their standard leather cleaner and conditioner. Use a hot microfiber cloth and wipe down everything. Get a boar hair brush (like the ones you use to buff out shoes) and take hot water, and the lexol cleaner, and scrub the leather. After that is done go back with another lightly damp microfiber cloth and get the cleaner excess off. After that get a sponge or wax applicator (that is clean do not reuse an old one of course) and apply the conditioner well and use swirling action just like placing wax by hand on the finish of your car. After a couple of hours and good dry heat, go back with yet another damp microfiber cloth and all with be beautiful.

BTW I just did all of this alst night on my balck sport seats :) Only I used BMW leather conditioner/cleaner in place of the lexol conditioner, I like the result better and the smell is more like new.
