Please can anyone tell me what this is.. My X is a 06. My lights have like a faded line. Not sure wtf it is looks like burn in.. 1.Is it possible that sun burned it in.. 2 Could it be my washer fluid.. Could it be the car wash formula I use. (blue coral) I only handwash 3. Could it be wax I use (meguliars).

I have tried rubbing it off with micro fiber. I also bought some headlight cleaner from meguliars. I even tried the youtube video where ya put toothpaste on the lights.. Im pissed they make my X look like caca.

Do yall put a thin coat of wax on the lights after waxing.. I tried that a few times but the lines were still there.

Help please. I dont think its moisture but I could be wrong

3M headlight restoration will do the trick. That's from the sunlight.

The haze line is actually the UV coating coming off the polycarbonite lens...sunlight, age, weather and chemicals eventually deteriorate these coatings, they come off, and headlights fog (outside), haze and yellow.

Polishing with a high quality polish (not compound) followed with wax will remove the haze, but a line may still be visible, and will require you keep maintaining them. Some of the kits out htere have a sealer that is supposed to make maintenance less frequent but I don't know if it works.

My wife's Odyssey has had this same issue...they looked just like yours, and this weekend I used some Megiures swirl remover and then some Collinites Insulator wax and they look brand new..for how long we will see.

Basically you cannot really stop it, but may be able to reverse it for a while.

I'd go straight for the 3M headlight restoration kit. Especially with the condition of yours. I've tried polishing headlights in that condition and it didn't work well--3M will do it.
