HEY PHIL!!! :)
Figured this was as good a method as any to get your attention lol.
I am pretty happy with Lexol leather cleaner and te BMW rand leather lotion as a final clean/condition step. Good results and the smell is great but every time I get a loaner it makes me sad. I mean like real sad, almost cant drive from the tears of seeing the new leather beauty and feel, not to mention the torture of knowing my X5 just is not this nice anymore..... Its a driving hazard as I am sure you have realized by now. So I have seen the Sonax leather foam in the Lexus SUV writeup you did and that worked well (I have used Tuff Stuff on my older 530i and I am thinking that may be similar but who knows). Just curious on what I could use which would get my leather back to that new feel and sheen? I veered away from Lexol's conditioner because, while it worked well, it left an oily feel that would get into the leather and slowly surface days after use (and I was using too much). The smell was not so awesome too. So for BMW Nevada Leather, how do you get the new back? Or as close as you can get? Figure I could just email you but this is info people need to know, and they need to know the best place to get the materials. Not sure if you know anyplace one can get quality detailing gear ;) |
you can use this kit to get the oem matte finish back.
