2 Questions

Hey just a couple questions...

1- I need a glass polish to get rid of my really hard water spots on my windows.
All i know of is Griots glass polish, and i think 1Z but its on backorder everywhere? Also Did someone, rickybobby? post something about glass polishing , it was 1Z right?

2- Coatings. Im about to get my first coating (nanocoating is what i used to call them but realized now they are not all nano) The ones im looking at is Opticoat 2.0 and Gtechniq exo.

How is Opticoat 2.0 compared to Gtechniq C1 and Exo together?
I know exo is good at repelling dirt but not the best marring protection, and C1 is the opposite. But if you pair them together its great.

But what about opticoat? where does it fall into marring/scratch resistance?

Oh and 22PLE glass coating?

Multmesc!

Don't have any input about coatings as I use Power lock and Sonax Net Shield, sorry.

For the glass polish I have a bottle of Mothers Water Spot Remover polish i bought a year ago, I just got some 3" uber pads and backing plate for my PC and will be testing it on some water spots on my windows, will report back what color pad and polish combo works better.

Alternatively, Phil suggested to me that I test out using some compound with a medium polish orange pad on my windows, since glass is much harder than paint it shouldn't scratch the glass or have negative effects. If using the Mothers polish doesn't do much I will step it up to something more aggressive like the FG400 that I have now.

I know griots has a special glass pad thats much harder. I also have some fg400 on its was along with some other stuff. Ive just heard and experienced that polish can get into the small chips and is a nightmare to remove from the glass..

Also i tried alittle P21s polishing soap on a waterspot and it worked, im afraid of it scratching if i decide to do a larger area with a sponge
