How can I tell if I have phone prep?

So, I just picked up my 2002 Silver/Black Premium, Sport on Wednesday, it is an awesome car and fun to drive. However, the dealer assured me that I had phone prep (s640) so I believed. Yesterday, I ordered a bluetooth kit from advanced autovations thinking I had this.

Then today at the dealer. I asked the service department, and they were "not sure". How do I know if I have phone prep? Thanks.

With your VIN, any dealer can confirm if option SA640 is on the vehicle.

To check yourself, look in the left rear compartment down in the lower well and see if you can locate a black DB25 connector that looks like this

King's write-up on installing BT in a 2002 is also helpful - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=188
