Whistle Verizon Treo 650 pairs and transfer phone book with ULF -522!!

Okay, as many of you know, I did retrofit a ULF -522 module in my 2001 X5 which previously had a CPT 8000. I got the ULF -522 module and retrofit kit from Martin Bishop from www.bimmernav.com

Anyhow, my Verizon Treo 650 has the latest firmware 1.04.

The Verizon Treo 650 will pair and be immediately recognized by the ULF -522! However, the phone book/favorites on the Treo 650 did NOT transfer right away. I thought it would take time for it the transfer, but after driving around in a week with it, the phone book in my Treo 650 DID NOT transfer. I did pair my wife's new Verizon Pink RAZR with the ULF -522 and it immediately paired and the phone book transferred automatically right away.

Anyhow, I remember reading somewhere that some phones need to have their phone book "manually" transferred. So, this is what I did....Turn on the car and have the VZW Treo 650 recognized by the ULF. Then, in my armrest, I hit the "pairing button" once and VOILA, the phone book/favorites in my VZW Treo 650 transferred!! From now on, when I turn on the car, the BT ULF module recognizes the Treo 650 and phone book transfers each time. My next test is to modify my Treo 650 "Favorites/Phone book" and see if the ULF recognizes the changes.

Anyhow, I hope this helps anyone who has a Verizon Treo 650 and BMW Bluetooth.

Also, I will tell you the Verizon Treo 650 will pair and transfer the phone book automatically in the Motorola BT/Assist module -114.
