Moto Razr with Bluetooth

I just had a Bluetooth phone system retrofitted for my 2004 X5. The problem is that multiple entries in the phone book display as ?. Does anyone know of a fix? Is something missing here? Software upgrade through Moto or at the dealer? please email me directly [email protected]. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The fix is to use standard characters and don't put multiple entries under the same name

I will give that a try but not sure if it is the fix I want. My old phone was a v60s and the characters worked fine.

I just purchased a 2005 4.8is and I am having trouble getting my Razr (Verizon) to work with my bluetooth connection. Any suggestions - I don't seem to be able to get the X5 to search for the phone?

Try having the phone search for the Car. Do a quick search. The pairing instructions are in the forum.

Works perfectly when hooked to the BMW.

Only trouble with the phone is that the hard keys on the side occasionally get pushed inadvertantly and turn off the ringer off.

Thanks, I had the same problem with the v710, you have to be careful how you pick it up....
