Is this a bug or a feature?

I've searched the forums on this, but I can't find an answer - perhaps I'm just using the wrong keywords.

I'm currently using a Moto E815. I'm also using the bluetooth tranciever (or whatever it's called) that plugs into the OEM V60 cradle until I decide whether I want/need to upgrade to the '05 ULF (I have Assist and want to keep it).

Handsfree functions work fine, and the phonebook uploads to the X5, but doesn't update. For example, I changed my home phone # from my wife's name to simply "home" but it still shows up on the X5's directory as my wife's name. I updated the directory almost two weeks ago, so this is not a delay in updating - it's a failure to update.

My top 8 list also "resets" itself periodically. It will populate itself, stay that way for a while, then become empty, then start populating itself again, etc.

This is not a huge issue at the moment, but I've got a VR module coming and I'm going to confuse the heck out of myself if I have to use different voice commands for the same # depending on whether I'm in the car or out of it.
