Bluetooth 2006 x5 and verizon CDMA RAZR help?

When someone calls me they sound like they are underwater coming through the stock speakers. I cant find anyway to adjust the tome when someone is calling on the speakers (treble, bass, etc)
Does anyone know something about this?

It might be the firmware on the handset... I had a problem with mine but when I updated my firmware; problems went away.
