I have a bit tricky problem to solve with my phone and would appreciate any input towards the solution. Just recently I bought X5 black with beige leather and love it. Since I it was love from the first sight I overlooked some details. In the car I have something what is called Telephone Professional but after I bought the car I noticed that the hand piece is missing. I live in Germany so I went to the nearest dealer to find out how much for missing part? I was quoted around €330 for the hannd piece. It seems to me very high price since the part is not doing very much, I have a slot for SIM card and when I put my SIM card telephone is working OK with things which it suposed to work like hads free calls and display on the monitor etc. Now if I had to SIM card one for the mobile and one for car there would be no problem. But the provider with which I am has got no provision for two SIM cards with the same number. I could of course channge the SIM card from my mobile to car slot every time I drive but that would be a pain. Since I always wanted Bluetooth telephone connection I thought of fitting one and found out that accesories catalogue says about €600 for everything, but when I talked to dealer they told me that it would cost much more (€2000) since they have to rip all the stuff connected with Telephone Professional and replace it with stuff required for the Bluetooth connection. I don't know whom to believe but it seems to me that most of the cabling is there already and change over shoud be much cheaper than that. Any ideas?
