Question How do you adjust the computer voice volume?

Hello again all, many thanks for all your input on my previous post regarding my '04 X, I went ahead and just got the Bluetooth ULF part #84 21 6 955 522 because I decided I really don't need ASSIST.

Sadly this unit does not have the nice MALE voice that the '06 models do (heard one in a loaner E90 3 series)... rather it has the older Female Voice which I think is not nearly as clear.

HERE is my new dilemma: The Computer Voice is very LOUD. I can turn up or down the volume of the callers voice, but when I do a command input the woman deafens me. Any thoughts? I have tried turning the volume knob while she is talking but it doesn't do anything.

Thanks for any help!

You adjust the female voice volume using the voice command interface. Push the phone button to active voice recognition, then say "Volume Up" or "Volume Down" until you find your happy place with the nice lady behind the dash.
