I just purchased 2003 X5 4.4I WITH NAV AND BLUETOOTH. I WAS ABLE TO PAIR MY PHONE OK(LG CU500) WITHOUT SUCCESFULLY DOWNLOADING PHONE DIRECTORY. WHEN I GO TO THE SETTING SCREEN UNDER NAV, THERE IS A BLUETOOTH SETTING ON/OFF. NO MATTER WHAT I DO, IT STAYS OFF EVEN THOUGH MY BLUETOOTH CONNECTION IS OK. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY? ALSO, HOW CAN I DELETE PREVIOUS PAIRED PHONES? THANKS IN ADVANCE. |

That setting makes no impact, it was something they had put in during the very early days of Bluetooth - just ignore it.

cingular 3125
Thanks for the reply. I just purchased a Cingular 3125 windows mobile phone and paired it to my 2003 X5 4.4i with no problem. It downloaded phonebook automatically.
