Bluetooth ULF Hanging
I find that with my 2004 X5 bluetooth with a Motorola V600 if I try to make a call with poor or no phone coverage the phone system in the X5 hangs until I make a successful manually initiated call from the phone. Its as if the ULF is waiting for a reply from the phone as to whether the call has been successful or not. Anyone had this occur or know a fix ? thanks, Seedar |

Forgot to add that the phone system is also restored to normal operation if the car is turned off and back on again.

Upgraded
For anyone who might be interested my dealer upgraded my ULF module (bluetooth module) and I'll let you know how it goes. Seems to work better.

Did they replace the ULF or do a software update? Glad to hear it's working better.

Replaced the ULF
They said the software is not upgradable. Sounds a bit strange to me as everything these days has firmware in flash (?) Still I didn't complain since I got a new unit and software.
Were there any changes to functionality between 11/03 and now ? Seems to behave identically otherwise... Seedar. |
