Bluetooth cable with RIGHT ANGLE connector
I recently completed (except for Microphone!) the comboned Assist/BT retrofit to my 2004 X5. One thing that bothered me was that when I mounted the assist module correctly on the amplifier bracket I could not plug the bluetooth aerial connector (beige) in correctly as it fouled on the bracket. I used cable 61 12 0 137 616 which has a STRAIGHT beige connector which is quite long. I had to mount the assist/TCU module differently - it rattles etc. which is not good. LCR recently sent me a photo of his factory installation when I was having trouble with my combined module. The photo is attached (thanks LVR!). As you can see his module (ULF so clearance not an issue anyway) had a Bluetooth cable with a RIGHT ANGLE connector on it! This is what I need to complete my installation correctly! Does anyone know the part number for this cable? Perhaps it is built into the loom and not available seperately?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Luke Jenner |

Luke, I used the cable (PN 61-12-6-912-541) to connect mine up but like yours it is straight.
I have seen the right angle connectors but not from BMW, your best bet would be something like this http://www.amphenolrf.com/record.asp...FA1-NBRJ-C01-0 from http://www.amphenolrf.com/search.asp...=33+4294967232 And get a custom lead made up. I thought about it but just bought the standard one in the end. Hope this helps.

The cable definately exists as a standalone part! Found this picture on the net at http://194.168.163.65/m5/btooth/
I have connected BIMMERNAV to see if they know! Unfortunately doesn't quote a part number! Luke |
