Alternative Bluetooth Kit
I have a 2002 3.0i x5 with a 07/2002 build date. I have the CPT wiring ready and the CPT phone harness but not have the phone. I want to install a Bluetooth kit into my car and interested in installing caughtbluehanded kit in my car. However they said they only suppor till 02/2002 build date. The original BMW kit is way expensive for me and I want to use the steering wheels controls in my car too. So do you guys know any other cheaper alternative to the original BMW bluetooth kit. Try contacting Parag at http://AdvancedAutovations.com. When I talked to him recently he let it slip that he has a couple new BT kits just about ready to launch that provide similar integration capabilities to the BMW ULF but are quite a bit cheaper. He can fill you in on the details much better than me. Their web site should have contact information (phone and email)
