Bimmernav vs. Bav Auto

Has anyone compared bimmernav's bluetooth kit to those offered by Bavarian Auto? I am considering installing a kit in our 2004 X5 3.0. Thaks for your input.

Bav Auto sells the EIS kit, this has been discussed many times before on the forums.

You probably know already that we are huge fans of OEM integration. Our Bluetooth kits support the following functions:

- Voice Activated Dialing
- Phonebook Synchronization
- SMS Text Message Display (depending on carrier)
- Name Recognition
- Voice Activated Navigation (vehicles equipped with NAV)
- Digital Notepad

There are systems out there that use modified ULF boxes, toggle switches, or pieced together kits that is only compatible with a few vehicles or only a handful of phones - we're seen them all. Ours does not void factory warranty, since we are using only Genuine BMW parts.

More information on the kits can be found on our website:

Kits are currently shipping with 12th Generation ULFs, let me know if you have any further questions.

in my opinion id probably go with the EIS kit rather than the Bimmernav...not because i have used the products bu because of customer service. I recently bought something from them and after delivery had a few questions regarding what was actually sent out and have had no reply.....stick with someone that will offer you back up after they have a hold of your cash

thanks

Sorry that you feel someone did not get back to you from Bimmernav. I wonder if it might be possible the response went to your spam email filter or something and you missed it. I am very suprised that someone did not get back to you as bimmernav is very responsive. You might want to try your question again, or make sure your email address is correct if posting your question on the contact us page

I've done business with both bimmernav and bav. No complaints about either one. I actually got my BT kit from bimmernav. They provided excellent instructions and it took me less than 30 min to install it. They were very quick to respond to all the questions I had and very helpful.
