iPhone Not Compatible with 6th Gen Bluetooth?

Yes yes I too picked up one of those new iPhones, after the prices dropped. It paired up fine with my X5's bluetooth and even downloaded the address book. However, I can't make or receive calls. The vehicle's bluetooth dials the number but calls never actually go through. I didn't have any problems with other phones Motorola RZR V3i and Blackberry 8000 series.

The bluetooth module I have, which I picked up from Bimmernav a while back, is the 84 21 6 955 522 - 6th generation. Do I need to bite the bullet and get a newer BT module?

Yes, I read that on one thread after I posted up. Will give it a shot. Thanks!

We're told the new 13th Generation ULFs (now shipping) are specific to iPhone compatibility, however we have never had the chance to try to pair on earlier versions.

Alright, I'm gonna have to pull the trigger on this but before I do, can you tell me if you've successfully paired up the iPhone with the 13th Gen ULF?

We have not personally (since we do not use the iPhone), but have received confirmation this was one of the updates in the 13th Gen modules.
