Bluetooth - Sound Quality? /Part number
I'm thinking about retro fitting the bluetooth module to my 2004X5 (UK). My first question is: Do you get good sound quality from the bluetooth module, I only ask as I have one of those bluetooth headsets, and I find the sound quality very poor. The second question is: What is the part number I should ask for from BMW to get module/mic/aerial etc and what should be the cost of this? The third question: Is the TvonNav solution the same kit as BMWs? Rgds Roscoe |

The AdvancedAutovations solution (which also owns/operates TVonNav) uses the BMW components (modules, mics, etc.) and couples it with their own custom harnesses that allow the vehicle to be rerofitted with BT.
I would suggest that you contact AdvancedAutovations and give them your VIN. They should be able to tell you what components you'll need and provide pricing. As for sound quality, I find it to be quite good for a "handsfree" solution. Similar to what you get with a speaker phone. :welcome: to X5world!!
