Pairing Problem with Bluetooth

I installed the Bluetooth kit but I cannot get the pairing to work. I installed the eject box and per the instructions, I pressed the pairing button on the eject box and while holding the button, turned the ignition key to position one. But, Bluetooth Pairing never appears on my NAV screen. I've checked all the connections 3 times and it still will not pair up.

this is what you need to do, hold the pairing botton for one second and turn the ignition on(start the engine) keep holding the pairing botton for 4 more second then release it, at this point you should get the flashing lights.

turning the key to position one will not activate the system.
