Parts Needed

Hello,

I recently purchased a 12th generation ULF from ebay. It only comes with the ULF and I was curious what else I needed. From the research on this site, I believe I need the following:

Bluetooth Antenna
Antenna Wiring Harness (to go from antenna to ULF)
and a Microphone

I found the microphone for $50.00, however can not find any info on the antenna anywhere. Are there any sites that have the antennas for sale?

Am I missing anything else?

My X5 is a 2002 3.0i pmanufactured in 08/2002. Thanks!

Ok, I found this site:

http://www.eiskits.com/bmw%20ala%20carte.html

But it appears I don't need a cable? Is that correct? So All I would need is the mic and the antenna?

If you have a pre-wire then you need the following, get the stuff from the dealers, it's hard to belive but they are cheaper than eBay.

Prices are in UK pounds so just x2 to get US dollars.

Bluetooth Antenna BMW p/n 84-50-6-928-461 £9.37
FARKA ULF to Antenna 4755MM BMW p/n 61-12-6-912-541 £16.50
Microphone BMW p/n 84-31-6 938-762 £25.54 (make sure you get this one as it is the upgraded mic, not the older one).

You may need the cradle and insert, these are for the e46 so check with the dealer for the correct bits for your car.

Eject Box with pairing button BMW p/n 84-21-6 933-415 £36.00
Centre Console Insert for Eject box (blk) BMW p/n 51-16-7-110-646 £19.60

Does anyone know the part number for an eject box with a pairing button for a 2002 X5?

Currently my X just has phone prep, but nothing else. No pairing button

Ok, I am confused now:

I have read some places that on a 2002 X5 (mine was built 08/2002) that a pairing button is not needed. There currently is no pairing button in my center console, but some people state they can enter pairing by holding down button on steering wheel. Is this true?

Additionally, if I do need to buy a pairing button, is it possible to buy just the eject box?

If it is not possible, do you reccommend buying the X5 installation kit? The installation kit part number I believe is: 84 11 0 302 641 (Does this kit include bluetooth antenna, farka, and microphone, and eject box with parining button?) If the kit includes all of the above, which version of the mic does it include?

Many Thanks!
