BMWNA needs to update their BT phone list!!!

I have sony Erisson K750i, not working with my X5.

- I thought that I have some problems with my BT module, but dealershop didn't even want to take a look, since I had a phone which WASN'T on the list.

but it's working with the phone which is on the BMWNA's BT phone list.
so I was looking for other cool phone which is working with my X5,
but BMWNA never update their list, still same old phone list!!!
some phones on their list are even discontinued models..

yes, I saw some thread that says K750i works fine with X5.
but I also found another thread says ppl having same problem as me, which is quick drop/disconnect.
it just connect then disconnect by itself. very weird.

Wurzin I cant understand why it does not work with your car as your car is very simular spec to mine, just with a bigger engine . I would check that you have the latest software on the phone and in the car. I would also try switching from the phone memory to the sim card and make sure the names are all under seperate heading So have 1 name 1 number

Connect/disconnect happens on the S700i when you receive an sms taht is either too long or has weird characters in it. Just delete the sms and it will connect again.

X5 Sport> I'm pretty sure you are a member of bmwland.co.uk also,
here is the thread that I posted there,
I've upgraded to the newest firmware, stored all numbers to SIM card.
still not working, I've got connected only once. loaded phone books, could make/receive phone calls. but that was my first and last time.
whenever I jump into my car, it finds device and connects then disconnects.

Charlie Brown>thanks for the tip, however I don't keep text messages.
I even double checked message box, just incase but still no luck.

Yes that was me on BMWland is a good site but not enough X5 stuff for me ! So I go on both sites.

Have you go access to another car with bluetooth or another K750i I wonder if your phones are slightly different to uk spec phones. If you was 5000 miles closer you could have tried pairing your phone with my car ! Maybe someone else a bit closer can help out
