Ouch! Companies like NTP drive me insane. They produce nothing but go around hoarding patents in case someone else is willing to bring a product to market so they can later sue/extort. They are like those people who buy up domain names at $14 a pop in hopes that you will one day have the misfortune of naming your business the same, and have to pay them $100k or more to use it.

BTW... NTP, Inc. is a Virginia-based patent holding company, founded in 1992 by the late inventor Thomas J. Campana Jr. and Donald E. Stout. The company's only asset is a set of wireless email patents that were awarded to Andrew Andros and Thomas Campana and originally assigned to Telefind Corporation, a Florida-based company (now out of business) partly owned by Campana.

If i only knew someone at Palm. I need that unlocked Treo but not for $600.00. Yeah I know about E-bay, Craigslist ect but with this kind of product i need a warranty. I still may go with Cingular if I can find a good deal.

Here is a good deal on a Treo 600. He just sold the 650 for 400 CDN. the owner's name is Kevin and he is local to me but does a lot of business on the web. Keep an eye on his site for new stock.
