DashCams - Anyone using them?
I imagine there are more than one user here using a dash cam, so either my search skills suck, or no one is talking about it.. So I was hoping to open a discussion..
Anything else you want to ad..

I know it’s a year late.. but I recently upgraded from e90 to an e70 and was planning to change the stock screen to an android (f-style) screen.. and adding a usb Chinese aftermarket dashcam that has ADAS Abd LDW built it..

I'm planning on adding an android headunit to my E53, and would love any info you can provide and anything you may not like about that particular dashcam unit.

I have a Garmin Dashcam 55 mounted in my other car (Toyota hilux) with the standard mounting kit and hardwired into the acc circuit.
The Garmin 55 is a fabulous little unit. Using a 64gb microSD card, it records about 15 to 20hr of footage, which is great for recording my overlanding trips here in Australia. I've looked at other dashcams but I think I'll be getting another Garmin 55 for my E53

I've got a $30 truckstop specials in my rx300 and suburban, for the X5 I recently installed an android touchscreen that has dvr in. I ordered a camera I think will work and plan to install it on monday. I'll post pics if it goes well, and cry about it if it doesn't
