first mod

Well, I was all set to do my first mod ( Icelink install) Ordered from Tom, got a great deal and service. Started to install, and them through my own stupidity not reading all of the posts I realize that I need a power source for the Digital/Analog converter Tom sold me.

This is way beyond my abilities to hardwire it in, so I will have to take it in to an installer. Oh well, looks like it will be worth the wait.

Before you run your truck over to an installer, see what the forum members and Tom G come up with for solutions. There are plenty of articles buried in the archives discussing power taps for the various iceLink/DSP installs. My wife is waiting for me to go grocery shopping, otherwise I'd find you the links.
