Icelink Installation - Radio Unit now dead :-/

Guys - here's hoping one of you can assist me with this problem. I've a UK 2001 X5 3.0d Sport and recently installed the Dension Icelink Plus to my factory radio/tape/CD changer unit. Followed the instructions - removed the fuses - disconnected the battery - unplugged the CD changer - plugged the Icelink in and finally reconnected battery and fuses.

Unfortunately the radio unit no longer works!! - can't get it to come on at all. However if I plug my ipod into the Dension, it will play whatever's playing currently on the ipod and I can use the steering wheel to move up and down the tracks. The trip computer functions still work on the dash too (but no display on the radio unit).

Thinking it was the Icelink, I've just completely removed the Icelink and restored as was (except for re-plugging the CD changer). Still no radio function.

Any ideas? Is there an internal fuse in the radio that could be blown that I could get access to?
