Question Cd changer installation ??

Should I remoove el.fuse ...or disconect battery before instalation of the CD changer?? Or just connect everything together without this operations?
So far I have CD changer ( BMW) part # 8211 0 028 760 made 2002 August, 12 v negateveGND ( 6 pin, ans 3 pin )and ( actually Coaxial inn, but I do not have a coaxial cable connection in X5 2003 ,DSP radio-tape player ??)

You can, but in my opinion you don't need to disconnect the battery to do this.

For a 2003 you likely have the analog DSP system that no longer uses the coax connection between the CD changer and the DSP amp. If you connect up the 3 pin and 6 pin connectors and have sound then you are good to go.

Just remove the fuse. I've installed a new changer few weeks ago. I did not know that I needed to remove the fuse, so it burned out. But I bought a new one and put it on it's place after conecting the power cable.
