Question Location idea for hide away unit need help...

I intend to install a Panasonic 7200 dvd screen. I can not find a smart location anywhere in the cabin for a hideaway unit. The unit measures 7x10x2 and is used to plub in harnesses, rca, etc.

Thanks to the smart techs at Panasonic, the cable harness that goes from the head unit to the hide away is not long enough to reach the trunk. Therefore the trunk idea is out of the question.

I was also considering center console area, but that is where the duct goes for the rear air flow. I have not taken out the center shifter area. Is there any room there to hide away the unit?

Any other nice spots, perhaps under the dash, behind the glove box?

Expert help is extremely appreciated. This forum rocks.

If anyone also has great amp location ideas (as if there was many) other than next to the spare tire, that is awesome as well...
