2 basic questions....

Been driving around town and my stereo system seems to jump from mono to stereo anything up to 6-7 times in a 10 metre stretch. Is this related to signal strength of the FM station I am listening to or my antenna?

Secondly..... I would like to pick up the radio station I like in another state. Would you folks with Sirius out there be able to tell me if that is possible?

Cheers

Re: mono to stereo jumping...either the station's engineers are fiddling with the transmitter (this is the time of year for that to frequently occur) or the signal just isn't so strong where you were driving. You could also possibly be picking up the "pirate" signal in mono of an FM stereo pilot, but that would only be if that station had some very professional engineers.

Are you experiencing this in a city or open environment?

Picking up an FM or AM radio station in another state can only be accomplished with Sirius IF the station is carried by Sirius. Otherwise, it's all about proximity to that specific transmitter.
