MP3 CD Changer Question

I know I can do a search on this, but I don't have the time to read through many threads to find the quick answer because my wife has me preparing the house for baby #3 due in little more than 2 weeks.

I am looking for a good, cheap, MP3 CD changer for my 2004 X5 with Nav, OEM Sirius and DSP. I have the OEM changer and would like to replace it with something that plays my MP3s for the times when I can't find anything on Sirius and I leave the iPod at home.

What are the alternatives?

TIA.

Check out this thread. The newest OEM CD changer supports MP3. Plus, if you upgrade your radio some day, it will even display the artist and track information on your nav screen.

Alternatively a lot of people go with the Alpine CHA-634 with an adapter to connect to the BMW OEM system.

If you have an iPod, you will gain many more features over an MP3 changer such as ID3 text and a larger music library. a 1G nano iPod and DICE kit can be had for approx $300.
